Help Gayle beat cancer

I am writing on behalf of a coworker, who I have worked with for over 15 years. Gayle, our stubborn little spitfire, has run into some health problems that she needs huge prayers for. Gayle was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 lung Cancer. While doing further diagnostics testing, Gayle was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism (clot in her lungs) and was sent to the hospital for treatment. Because of the PE's, she had an urgent MRI done and was then hit with the terrible news that she has Stage 4 lung cancer and it has spread to her brain and bone (hip bone). Gayle is the only income that she has to pay for her home, bills and all that goes along with life. Gayle lost her husband about 10 years ago. She has recently lost her brother about 6 months ago and as recently as 2 months ago lost her mother. With that being said, not only is she emotionally distraught with that, but now she will carry the burden of all her responsibilities knowing she can no longer work at this time. Gayle has great support from her children and grandchildren, as well as her Silver Cross family.

I reach out to friends, family and the whole social networking society, in hopes to get Gayle all she needs-prayers, money, a simple text, a visit when she is feeling up to it, or even sending her food on days she feels like eating.

Gayle has already received 2 rounds of chemotherapy and was getting fitted for her face mask today so she can start radiation to the brain. Her daughter Erika will be helping her get to her appointments, as some are in Hyde Park.

Gayle has been so close to retiring and was counting down the days to enjoy life with her kids and grandkids, and this has thrown a big curve ball. PRAYERS are so needed that she will beat this. Gayle is already humbled at the fact that her work family is setting up this gofund me, so on her behalf, I say thank you for reading, sharing and donating.
