Support Genaro Serrano After Loss from Eaton Fire

Donation protected
Hello LA Community,

My name is Jennifer Rueda, and I live in the Alhambra area. I’m reaching out on behalf of my gardener, Genaro Serrano, and his family, who have recently experienced a devastating loss.

In the early morning hours of January 8, as the fierce Santa Ana winds swept through our area, the Eaton Fire consumed Genaro’s home, leaving his family without a roof over their heads. Tragically, all of Genaro’s gardening and concrete equipment—his livelihood—was stored in the garage and has been completely destroyed.

Genaro runs a small gardening business with his brothers and is not only a talented gardener but also an experienced concrete mason. His work has touched so many in the greater LA area, and he is eager to get back on his feet and provide for his family once again.

The Serrano family is facing overwhelming challenges as they start over from nothing. Your generosity can help Genaro cover unexpected costs and to get back on his feet as quickly as possible.

If you’re able to contribute, no matter the amount, it will make a meaningful difference in their lives. Together, we can support this hardworking family during this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you for your kindness and compassion.

God bless you,
Jennifer
