Help Gene Dixon Find Comfort During Cancer Fight

Gene Dixon passed away on Monday, November 25th. The family would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for your support during this time. Gene will be and is already greatly missed.

Update### Thank you all so very much for your care and support through this difficult time. Unfortunately, Gene passed Monday November 25 at Sacred Heart Hospice. I would like to thank them for caring for him and keeping him comfortable. Thank you for everyone's help and support.

This is our Dad, Gene Dixon. His entire life he has been a hard worker, at times working three jobs to support his family. He turned 65 this year and was working toward retirement, finally. He currently works for General Dynamics in Pittston. Gene was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer. He is taking it in great stride but cannot continue working until retirement. He was recently hospitalized, but will (hopefully) be going home soon.

Things will be tough though, he will need things to make him comfortable and to help him get around easily. Insurance only goes so far and even though he has received generous help from his fellow co-workers, this will be very difficult for him and my mother as he is the main provider. Please, if you can't donate, please say a prayer for Gene and our family at this time. Thank you so much.
