One week before Gene's 60th birthday, we received heartbreaking news that his biopsy came back positive for throat cancer.

He's against traditional cancer treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation. Radiation, especially at the head and neck causes the jaw bones to weaken... the outcome could be devastating. Unfortunately, Gene is not eligible for surgery to have the tumor removed.
