Hi, my name's George Malik of The Malik Report , and I'm attempting to raise funds for a hopeful goal:

I have covered the Red Wings' prospect tournament and main training camp via reader support for over ten years now. It usually costs about $2,000 to stay in a hotel in Traverse City for two weeks, and another $500-800 to cover expenses. I really don't make any money from the trip, but I break even most of the time.

This year, I would have to bring my 81-year-old Aunt Annie with me, and that's going to cost us an extra $900 in hotel bills because we need to have a first-floor, handicapped-accessible room.

Long story long, we are hoping to raise at least $2,900 by September 12th, only three weeks from the fundraiser's start, and hopefully a little more to cover expenses.

If there's any way that you can help or spread the word, this is a fundraiser for me to provide a service to my readers, while also caring for my aunt, and we know that it's an improbable one, but we are still hoping that we can make our "moonshot."
