Help George Fulfill Xiao Ping's Final Wishes

Hello, my name is George. I’d like to tell you my fairytale story of me and Xiao Ping. My wife recently passed away from colon cancer and endured more than 9 years of chemotherapy, radiation, and several surgeries while receiving care from RUSH University Medical Center Hospital to help her fight against cancer.
My wife and I met on Skype on September 6th, 2006. The years we spent together were the most happiest times I will always remember and never forget.
My wife and I were married for over 15 years and she passed away on April 4, 2023. Our story began in China when we first met on Skype. It was a one in a million chance to meet the love of my life who was thousands of miles on the other side of the earth. We kept in touch for several months and I finally decided to travel to China to meet her in December 2006. She took me to many beautiful places like the Great Wall of China and the Shaolin temple in Henan. In the summer of 2007, I returned to teach English in China and stayed with Xiaoping for about 3 months. During the summer and fall of 2007, our relationship blossomed and we fell in love so we decided to hold a marriage ceremony in China in December 2007. In the fall of 2007, I had applied for the K1 visa for my wife and we both decided to live in the United States. In the beginning of 2008, my wife received the best news we both were waiting for and our fiancée application for the K1 was nearing the final steps and my wife would need to go to Beijing for her interview. I remember we were both anxious and hoping she would pass the interview. My wife was very fortunate as she did pass her interview with the immigration officer in Beijing. So in February 2008, fast forward, my wife immigrated to the USA and we both married that same month. It was the most happy day of our lives. In the summer of 2008, we decided to have a baby so my wife got pregnant during the fall and we were so excited. My wife gave birth through Caesarean / C-section to our treasure and only son Owen on May 31, 2009.
Our lives were just beginning to get more beautiful until 4 years after my wife was diagnosed with colon cancer in April 2013. She underwent more than 9 years of chemotherapy, radiation, multiple surgeries, multiple hospital visits, and countless surgeries. My wife was truly my hero and a brave fighter to stay alive for so long. She was truly my best friend, soulmate, wife, and the best mother any child could have. I miss her every day.
The cost of the funeral and cemetery burial was quite high and I had to borrow money from family and friends and am still trying to recover from the financial loss.
This summer, we traveled to China to pay our last respects to my wife's family in China. We were fortunate to stay with them for about 3 weeks. Although the expenses of the trip were costly, I managed to save the money we could afford to budget. I am now trying to recover all the money I've used in savings to pay for me and my son's daily life. I am pleading to whomever has ever known someone who had cancer knows the struggles for the family. As a single father, I am trying my best to complete my wife's final wishes of raising my son and helping him finish high school.
The expenses for the funeral, costs of rent, and unforeseen financial struggles have been overwhelming in my life as a widowed Father. The money we had saved up for my son's college education including for our daily life is all gone as it was spent on all expenses in the last year. I am struggling to make ends meet and plead for whomever may read this may make a donation from the bottom of your heart to help us. My wife's final wish was for my son to finish H.S. in Naperville. I beg you with all my heart to share this story with friends or family.
Thank you
