Help George Melling fight MND

To the absolute devastation of all members of the Global Engineering Ltd family, our good friend and colleague George Melling was recently diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND); a rare condition that damages the brain and nerves and has debilitating affects on the body.
George had worked for Global Engineering Ltd in Wigan for over 15 years as a steel erector. He was an integral part of our team, a much loved member of the Global family and we miss working with him every day.
Currently there is no cure for MND, but scientist are working hard towards a cure and are having promising breakthroughs with treatments.
The employees of Global Engineering Ltd have been super busy organising our Rickshaw Run/Walk/Cycle event where we will be completing a 36 mile trip from our head office in Wigan to George's home address in Blackpool. We are hoping to raise money to help support George and his family through these hard times.
The Rickshaw will be sporting the colours of George's charity shirts (shown in the photographs below) and will hopefully be carrying George himself!! Employees will take it in turns to man the rickshaw whilst all other participants will run/walk/cycle alongside.
The event will be taking place on 12th June 2021 and will commence at 7:00-7:30am. We would also be ecstatic if anyone would like to join us and participate in our event, all we ask is that your participation comes with a small donation.
