Help George the tripod fight cancer

Hi fellow cat, pet, and animal lovers.

We are making this fundraiser to help cover the costs for tripod kitty George's surgery and diagnostics of adenocarcinoma in his intestine. George and his human have a long battle ahead for which regular blood tests, special diet, and chemo drugs are required on top of the vet bills for the emergency surgery he had to have.

George is recuperating wonderfully from the surgery that removed a mass and 6 inches of intestines. He is very young, only 5 years old. His owner, who adores him, has decided to try to fight the cancer before it metastasizes only in ways that will still keep his life quality.

We wanted to help George and his human get on their feet by helping them pay off the giant vet bills. Corvallis Cat Care is charging $1504.20 for tests and exams that pointed towards a possible blockage in George's intestines, but it wasn't until Friday at midnight that the ultrasound reports came in that urged for an emergency surgery. Hoping it would save his life, Iva took George to the emergency vet where he got examined and surgery was advised. Willamette Valley Wet charged $4546.65 for George's surgery and meds. Unfortunately, the biopsy of the mass came back as adenocarcinoma and even though George is young and a fighter, the road ahead is long and fraught with many more expenses.

George is a fighter and he is a very special little cat. He made it through a leg amputation at a very young age and has been a champion all throughout his intestine resection surgery. Throughout all of it, he's never stopped being a loving, goofy little dude that puts a smile on everyone's face.
