Help George Win His Battle With Mutiple Myeloma
Donation protected
George Hughes has always been a wonderful husband and father, a hard worker and a great provider. Back in November 2023, he went to the ER complaining of chest pain. An xray found a mass that, at first, was thought to be lung cancer. He was referred to an Oncologist who scheduled multiple tests, including a PET scan that insurance refused to cover. The scan showed that the mass was on his rib cage and not his lung. He was immediately scheduled for a bone marrow biopsy and was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma.

George has had Radiation Therapy, and for the past 4 months has been taking oral cancer meds and weekly injections. He has managed to work this entire time. However, in July, he will be having a bone marrow transplant and he will be hospitalized for 2 - 3 weeks. He will then be off of work for approximately 3 months. Unfortunately, insurance doesn’t cover everything and medical bills are quickly adding up. Any money donated will be used for medical bills and household expenses while George is on unpaid leave after his time runs out. Any amount you're willing to contribute is so greatly appreciated. If you aren't able to contribute at this time, a share with your friends and family would mean the world to us as well.
