Help Georgetown Hoyas Compete at the Jessup Moot Court

We are the Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) ILS Jessup Moot Court Team, a dedicated team of five students under near full financial aid, and we need your support!

After months of rigorous preparation, we have qualified for the prestigious Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition finals in Washington, D.C. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent Georgetown on the global stage, competing against top law schools from around the world.

Thanks to generous sponsors, a significant portion of our costs, including airfare and around half of accommodation, has already been covered. However, we still need at least $1000 to cover the remaining of our accommodation and meal costs during the competition. As students on financial aid, covering this expense on our own is incredibly difficult, and without it, our participation remains uncertain.

This competition is not just about us—it’s about showcasing Georgetown in Qatar’s excellence in international law on a world stage. Your support will allow us to compete, advocate, and bring home recognition for our university and the hard work we’ve put into this journey.
