Help Geronimo & Vivi cover his cancer treatment

Hello, my name is Christina. I am the mother of Viviana, and mother in law to Geronimo. As some of you know, Geronimo was recently diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). This diagnosis came as a complete surprise.

Geronimo was experiencing chest pain which sent him to the ER. After running some blood work they found his platelets were extremely low and he was unable to heal from previous bruising.

An initial diagnosis of leukemia was made and he was transferred to City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Duarte, CA. Not long after arriving, City of Hope did their own tests and diagnosed it as ALL.

This all transpired over the last two weeks. Within that time he has had to have multiple platelet transfusions.

After days of testing and now preparing for treatment, tomorrow (1/26) Geronimo will be starting day 1 of an estimated 2-3 week stay to receive a rigorous chemotherapy treatment in hospital and will have continuous outpatient treatment needed for months to follow.

The treatment he has chosen is extremely intense, and will take a toll on his body in order to save his life. He chose this treatment because he is 27 years young, and he'd rather take it on full force now as apposed to being challenged by it in his older years. Along with this, Geronimo will be needing a bone marrow transplant.

Geronimo and Viviana just celebrated their first wedding anniversary in December and were planning for a baby. Now they're planning on how they're going to keep afloat with all of the hospital bills that will soon be mailed out and household bills that will need to be covered.

Though Geronimo has wonderful insurance, thank God for that, there are still a lot of out of pocket expenses and co-pays.

Vivi will continue working and being there to care for the love of her life, but they will be effected by the cut of income due to the disability amount.

So many amazing family and friends have reached out to see how they can help. There have been prayer services dedicated to Geronimo in multiple states, countries, and religions. We are so thankful for that ❤️
