Help Gerry’s Family With His Funeral Costs
Donation protected
Friends and family,
My dear friend recently lost her father, Gerry, in a tragic hit-and-run at a gas station in Redford on February 27th, 2022. After severe complications from the incident, Gerry passed peacefully on March 16th, 2022.
Due to an on going investigation, and to protect the identities of his wife and children, I cannot post the names of his family members, or their pictures on social media. However, I can say that Gerry was a kind, hardworking man who cared deeply for his family. He loved watching the Redwings, playing Angry Birds, doing word searches, and working hard to provide for his family. All he ever wanted was to give his family the life they deserved. He always had a joke to tell that made everybody laugh.
Survived by his loving wife, his daughter, and his son. Funeral arrangements were held on March 20th, 2022, however, his family was burdened by such an untimely death that they now are working to pay off the funeral services little by little.
This GoFundMe has been a long time coming as I had to wait to be cleared by the local police department working on the case, and I had to receive consent from the family to ask for donations. All proceeds will be going directly to his family to cover the costs of the funeral expenses.
Please consider donating to a grieving family; every dollar helps as they navigate these trying times without their loving husband and father.
