Help Me Walk Again: Urgent Surgery & Recovery Support

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I never imagined I would find myself in this situation—completely unable to stand or walk on my own. What was meant to be a joyful vacation in Maui turned into a life-changing injury. On the first morning of my trip, I slipped and fell at the resort and couldn’t get up. Since then, my legs have continued to give out, and I have been unable to walk or stand without assistance.

The only reason I went on this trip was because it had already been pre-paid 18 months ago through a timeshare, and the deadline to take the vacation was about to expire. I had no idea this trip would change my life in such a devastating way.

After days of tests and uncertainty, doctors finally discovered the extent of my injuries:

• A completely torn tendon in my right quadricep, where it should attach to my knee.

• An almost completely torn tendon in my left quadricep.

• Additional neurological concerns that are still being evaluated.

I now require surgery on both legs to regain my mobility, followed by extensive rehabilitation and physical therapy. However, I am currently without medical insurance after losing coverage just recently due to job loss. The cost of surgery, hospitalization, and long-term therapy is overwhelming, and I cannot do this alone.

I am asking for your support—whether through donations, prayers, or simply sharing my story. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward my medical bills, surgery, rehabilitation, and essential living expenses during recovery.
