Help get Chris home to heal

Hi, my son Chris who lives in Ottawa Ontario has recently gone through a life changing illness. He had liver failure and was in ICU for a few weeks.
A few months before he had been in a car accident with his uncle, where they suspect he may have possibly damaged his liver.
They have been testing him for many different diseases, illnesses or reasons for his liver to have failed. He has countless doctor's appointments, tests to run. The damage caused cirrhosis of the liver.
He is going to eventually need a liver transplant.
Currently he is unable to work due to his condition, and with being on and off CRB from this pandemic, he does not qualify for Ontario Works or disability. He still has bills, rent like the rest of us but now has a big prescription bill every month. Any savings he had has been depleted.
We are trying to get him here to Kelowna to be with his family. He is alone in Ontario and this is hard for him to go through alone. He needs his family and stress only adds to his illness.
Our goal is around $5000. to cover getting him, his belongings and his dog here. We are unsure if he will be flying or driving. He has his own car which may help out to get him here. If he flies here, we'll need plane fare for him and his dog and also to rent a Ubox from U-Haul, which costs close to $3000. If he drives, a small trailer would suffice.
Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated to get him here sooner than later.
