Help get Collegiate Gaelic Games on TV!

Donation protected
Hello, friends!

We have the opportunity to broadcast the National Collegiate Championship Hurling and Gaelic Football matches on the Regional Sports Networks across America this coming St. Patrick’s Day (March 17, 2024) and then every year after that in the foreseeable future on ESPN... after we do this first production, that will air live on ESPN3 and re aired on ESPNU, to show our blue print of the next games.

We are the National Collegiate Gaelic Athletic Association (NCGAA). Most of you know about us because so many GAA clubs in the USA currently have several of our players and alumni on your team. Some of your clubs were even founded by players who started with the NCGAA. We currently have over 2 dozen schools. Click here for a full list. https://www.ncgaa.org/club-finder

We have been striving to give our sports the national attention they deserve for a decade. Leveraging personal relationships one of our board members has in the live sports television industry, we have this opportunity to finally showcase a broadcast of our games for an American audience. If we are successful, it will solidify several broadcasts throughout the year of American based teams, and will create more interest in and growth of our sports.

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers who give dozens of hours each week to build a community that promotes the Irish sports of hurling and gaelic football. Our program helps our student/players improve their physical and mental health, while concurrently developing their leadership skills and abilities to work within a structured team environment. Everything about our program enhances our student/players and their college experience.
I am reaching out to you because we need to raise $20,000 (was more but someone came in and gave us a deal on some equipment) of additional funding to pay for this broadcast. We are getting all of our techs, equipment, and other people needed to put on a professional broadcast at massively reduced rates and some people are even coming to work this for free as a favor. We have gotten the cost down drastically and have this last hurdle.
Whatever your attachment to hurling and gaelic football, this donation will help the entire GAA ecosystem in America. If you can give $20 or $1,000, your gift will leave an enduring legacy on these sports, the GAA, and the status of Irish culture in America. Further, if you itemize, this donation it may be deductible due to our 501c3 status. Also see if where you work matches donations and we can show you other ways to donate in order to make your contribution that much more!!

We know you are passionate about these beautiful games. You know that we will all benefit if we can elevate our games here in America, where they are still not widely known. If you have the capacity for a donation, please donate! Before sending this email, we have received verbal commitments of $3,000 from some of the Board Members personal friends and through fundraising covered other costs. We are now trying to raise the final $20,000.
