Help Get Daisy Dog to New Zealand !

Hello, friends!
Anyone who knows me knows that the last 3 years of my life have been dedicated to two things:
- getting into vet school
- caring for and loving my best friend (and dog)-- Daisy!
I am excited to announce that the former has been a success-- I am slated to attend the Massey University Veterinary School program in New Zealand, starting February 2024! While I am so, so stoked to be going back to school and pursuing my dream of becoming a veterinarian, I have one major concern: making sure I can bring Daisy with me.
New Zealand has one of the strictest and most expensive pet import processes in the world. Even with the discounts afforded to me by working in the veterinary industry, I need to come up with roughly $5,000 to cover Daisy's airfare, mandatory quarantine, and associated paperwork and fees. As a soon-to-be student, this is, sadly, out of my ability to provide alone.
I would not be where I am today without my sweet Daisy Dog. She has been with me through so much-- living in my undergraduate housing cooperative, surviving a pandemic, graduating college, moving to Colorado, countless hard days, countless wonderful days, car crashes, the beginning and end of several relationships (some that were car wrecks in their own right!), and so much more. She has been a constant source of joy and support for me, and her companionship has helped me navigate my early 20's and all of the challenges that come with transitioning into adulthood. Truthfully, I wouldn't know what to do with myself without her.
I don't know how I can start this next chapter of my life without my Daisy. If you have even $1 to spare, we would both be extremely, extremely grateful. Thanks so much for your support!
Much love,
Hollie and Daisy
