Help get Debbie home to the US

Please help us get Debbie Tanner home to the United States. We were in the Dominican Republic vacationing and on Friday, 9/23/2022 the day before we’re scheduled to return home she had a medical emergency. She is currently hospitalized in Punta Cana Bavaro’s ICU. She had a stroke and significant brain bleed. She is paralyzed on the left side of her body. We are working with Trip Mate to help cover costs, however they’re telling us we need to pay upfront then they will refund us. They do not accept her insurance and her insurance company states they will not help with costs outside of the US. Unfortunately being in another country they’re requesting $7,000 dollars at this time in order to have her medical records sent to the trip insurance so we can arrange transportation back to the US. We’re also waiting on medical clearance so she can fly. We need financial assistance to help cover her costs to continue to pay for treatment and get her home. Please any amount of money would be greatly appreciated.

For those of you who know Debbie, know she would do anything for anyone. She is so loving, caring, giving, compassionate and truly amazing. Her entire family is devastated and feels helpless not being able to be by her side. Her family and her grandson’s (Tevin and Lex) are her entire life. Please help us get her back home to them.
