Help DOG TALES get to Scotland

Your Ol’ pal RICH EGAN is trying to take his original One-Man/Dog-Show, “DOG TALES” to the World Famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland this August. Why? Because It’s been a life-long dream and because this is the BIGGEST and best theater festival in the world. Good News- I have officially been invited to do 7 performances of my show at the Revolution/Theater Bar in Edinburgh, Scotland, August 18-24, 2019.

The Less Good News-I need your help...right quick! The venue is not charging me nor are they paying me to perform. Oddly enough, this is an unusual honor. Most performers have to pay to perform at the Fringe Festival. I am one of the rare, TOKEN AMERICANS deemed good enough or WEIRD enough to be invited in this capacity. Yee. Some of you have an inkling as to why I have been selected to represent AMERICA. The REST of you can rest-assured, I will REPRESENT you and all of America to the HILT!

First of all, the show….


DOG TALES is a fast-paced, comedic, one man show. It loosely follows the story of a DOG, Barnaby, who has abruptly moved from The Bronx in New York City to a suburb of San Francisco...against his will. Barnaby, irascible, sardonic and lovable, seems to be having some trouble adjusting to the new paradigm he is faced with; a world that celebrates “Gluten and cage-free dog food delivery services and dog teeth whitening Orthodontists.” Watch Barnaby fetch, drag, pant, hump AND deliver insightful, subversive Dog commentary on modern life.  Watch Barnaby project Dog related multimedia on a screen!  Also hear Barnaby perform two original Dog Hip-Hop songs, “Steppin Out” and, “Pushin Up Lipstick (Dog Dick).” Barnaby can get his little doggie dance groove on too. Don't worry.

 In order to make this show happen I need your HELP! I have a multitude of expenses and need your Hot crusted philanthropy!


 Some of my expenses include:

-Fringe Registration
-Flight
-Lodging
-Studio time in SF to record two songs. (Performed in the show.) 
-Promotional materials
-Equipment rental in Edinburgh. 
-Room Rental for SF Teaser event in mid June!!
