Update: 01/28/2024
Thank you to all who have donated to help get Nathan home. So far the money raised will take care of sending him home for a proper funeral with his family. However, they still have not found the person that murdered him. The family is asking for you to continue to report any information that can help to the SPD. They are still in need of financial support to help with the funeral expenses, and are truly thankful for what has been given. Thank you again to everyone that has reached out with wonderful help and suggestions and to all that have helped to get him home❤️❤️❤️

The family is still trying to figure out and make arrangements for Nathaniel’s trip home and funeral. They are asking for any help in finding the person that murdered him. Please reach out to the Sarasota PD with any footage or evidence of the White F-150 that was involved in a hit and run on January 15, 2024 around 730 pm at the intersection of 41 and Bee Ridge.
We’ve created this fundraiser in the loving memory of a neighborhood friend, Nathaniel aka. Early Frost, whose life was tragically cut short at the age of 47. Early was a ray of sunshine, a soul who found
his joy in music and spreading positive vibes all throughout Sarasota Florida. He rode around town (always smiling) with a sign on the back of his bike cart that said, "World Peace". He showed so much joy in sharing his advice and kindness to everyone.
January 15, 2024, was the last time he was able to spread his happiness, as he sat at Webber and 41, waving and smiling to everyone driving by. Around 730pm, Early was making his way across 41 and was tragically involved in a hit and run accident. The owner of the White F-150 that ran him over, did not even hit their brakes or stop. At this time, the Sarasota PD have not given the family any further information, except that this person has not been found.
Unfortunately, Early has been a part of the Sarasota homeless community, for the last 5 years and did not have any type of insurance. Nathaniel's family was unaware of his living situation because he didn't want them to know or worry about him. His family is currently living in Kansas City and would like to get him back home for a proper burial. The financial burden to get him home plus funeral expenses will all come with significant costs. I am asking for support from our community, along with any friends or family that are able to help, during this time of need. If you are unable to donate, please share your kind words and memories of Early for his family. They want to hear all of the wonderful memories he made in Sarasota.
With heartfelt thanks,
Sarah
