Help Herschel get new hips!

Herschel is officially scheduled at UGA for next month! We'll take him for his consultation and X-Rays and they will likely operate on the first hip (both his hips need replacement) the next day. We've consulted with numerous vets who all advised that due to the severity of the dysplasia, he needs a total hip replacement, not just an FHO. We were quoted $8,000 a hip, plus a $1,000 consult with X-Rays. Yes, this is a lot of money, but Herschel didn't ask for any of this and as dog lovers, we will fix him. After rehab Herschel will be available for adoption and able to live a normal life with his new hips! It will take some time to raise this money, so we're starting now because we will need to pay the day of surgery. Thank you all for everything you do for our foster dogs!
