Help get ICRobotics to the World Champs!

ICRobotics are heading to Houston for the FIRST robotics world championships!

WOW! Thank you to all those who have supported ICRobotics this far, we have reached the finical ability to ship our robot 'Norm' to the United States, as we continue to fundraise, we are now looking for ongoing support to help get students and mentors to the competition.

ICRobotics is a community robotics team from the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. We participate in the FIRST (For Inspiration of Science and Technology) Robotics competition. FIRST is a worldwide robotics organization with thousands of teams and hundreds of thousands of students competing. Over 2.5 million students have participated since its inception in1989. ICRobotics uses the FIRST competition to encourage innovation in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, maths) while building life skills in students including self-confidence, communication, leadership, resilience and teamwork all in an environment that promotes equity, fairness and kindness. IC is a not-for-profit incorporated organization that fundraises throughout the year to keep costs low for students as well as relying on corporate sponsorship to continue the work we do.

Your investment will go well beyond just the members of the team. As they say, “a high tide floats all boats” and ICRobotics want to create a king tide. Our goal is to provide an environment where everyone can be their best, providing a safe, equitable, enjoyable environment where students can excel. As the opportunity to represent Australia in the world championships fell to IC at the Southern cross regional in Sydney Australia, we are seeking support to cover the costs of registration fees and student travel.

This money will also further support students heading into the 2025 season as we continue to inspire the next generation of STEAM leaders.
