Help get Kenzie moving again

Anyone who knows Kenzie knows she is a fighter. In her ten years of life, she has overcome countless medical obstacles, all while maintaining the best sense of humor and sarcasm.
In 2014, when Kenzie was 2 years old, she was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called FSGS and fought for 4 years against it, eventually ending in renal failure and ultimately dialysis. Then in 2018, Kenzie received a kidney transplant when she was 6 years old. Throughout her medical battles, Kenzie has remained positive spirit who brings a smile to anyone around her. She maintained straight A's in school, and has never let any of life's challenges bring her down.
Kenzie’s current battle had her sent on flight for life to Denver Children’s Hospital with the diagnosis of Encephalopathy and Acute cerebellitis caused by the West Nile Virus. She lost her ability to speak, walk, sit, and complete all the daily tasks that we would normally take for granted. Her new kidney also has to be closely monitored and tested to make sure it isn't injured while she is fighting this virus. Her parents have been and will remain by her bedside throughout this latest medical emergency. The doctors have shared that it could take anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 months in Denver to help Kenzie recover, and some side-effects from the virus could linger even longer requiring many expensive and time-consuming follow up trips across the state. They have been in Denver since September 14th, 2022 with no information on when they will be able to return home.
By donating you can give Ryan, Ashley, and Mackenzie Albertson some solace and peace throughout this time of struggle.
