Help us recover the cost of Pocket's UF Vet Bill!

UPDATE: Puppy Hill Farms Animal Rescue needs help recovering the cost of Pocket's Medical Bills for her treatment at Newberry Animal Hospital and then at the UF Small Veterinary Animal Hospital. It looks like little Pocket may have consumed highly toxic Palm Fruit or foliage. Her cost of care at UF alone was ~$7K.

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to help Puppy Hill Farm Animal Rescue, Inc. obtain life-saving care from The University of Florida's Small Animal Hospital for a sweet little ~3 year-old pitty girl named Pocket.

Little Pocket is pretty perfect despite not having the greatest start in life. She was rescued Bradford County Animal Services' euthanasia list by Puppy Hill Farm Animal Rescue and placed into foster, where she has been a complete angel. She loves all doggy friends and all kids and is as sweet as she is cute.

Pocket was being treated for heartworm using the 'slow kill' treatment method when she became very sick at the end of last week. She was being treated for her illness at a local veterinarian's office, but her liver values have escalated and blood clotting factors have plummeted to the point that she had to be transported to University of Florida's Small Animal Hospital late this afternoon for more specialized testing and care.

The cost of little Pocket's veterinary care, so far, exceeds $1000 and the guestimated cost of her care at UF's Small Animal Hospital is between $2500 and $5000. Little Pocket is such a good girl that she deserves a fighting chance to survive this and find her loving FURever home!
