Help me Get Back on My Feet from a Broken Ankle
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Chioke, I love poetry, working out and cooking/baking and I’m a sophomore at SFSU.
I take friends and family dear to my heart and I love to help others find healthy balances in their diet and fitness journey.
I’m crazy about fitness, challenging myself and pushing myself to higher limits is one of the things I love so much about it. I love to feel comfortable and happy in my body.
So breaking my ankle has been the hardest set back I have had so far, because it kept me from my passion. Unable to walk, run and jump, depression very easily creeped it’s way into my head. And I found it hard to see the bright side of recovery.
Having family & friends support me and be there for me, helped motivate me to keep a positive mindset. And i’m so thankful for them being there for me.
I’m now recovering and doing physical therapy so my ankle can eventually get back to normal. But being stressed from 30,000 dollars in medical bills was not a bright side.
But at least now I have been able to get medical insurances coverage.
While I am slowly recovering from this set-back, I will not let it stop me from pursuing my goals and getting my bachelors in Visual Communication Design.
I will soon need a safe mode of transportation so I can get between University, work and home. So I am asking for anyone capable & willing to please donate.
There are plenty of people who need & deserve money on this platform more than me so please do not feel pressured to donate!
Thank you for your time, reading my story and understanding.
