Help get my dad home and into a UK hostipal
Donation protected
Hello, I'm Charlotte Morris, a 22-year-old University student with Autism and currently, my dad is hospitalised in France after a bike accident caused by a heart attack. His heart is damaged and he is currently suffering from brain damage due to the fall. He's currently stable enough to be moved back home but needs to be sent straight into another hospital due to his heart and to allow the family to visit him.
He does these cycling trips yearly and each and every time has come home safely, this is the first time he's had an accident abroad. We would call every night to update each other on our lives and if everything is okay at home, so the single night he didn't call instantly put me on edge. I love my father dearly and we look after each other due to him suffering from PTSD from the tragic housefire that took his girlfriend and my mother back in 2000.
My dad is my carer and the only person I have left, without him I don't know what I'd do and I know that the cats miss him dearly and wish to see him again. I want to be able to get him back home as soon as possible but unfortunately, we do not have the money to cover the Repatriation fees. We desperately need your help.
The funding that will be raised will be used towards the Repatriation fee's for the land ambulance and any medical staff that will be present in his travel, and anything left over will be used to cover his hospital fees for his stay at Saint nazaire.
We desperately miss him and want him to get home safely and I know it will put us at rest knowing he's just a car ride away instead of being across the channel.
