Help get my dream back on track

Hi, my name is Ryan. I’m the curator of the Instagram page @46labs. When I started the page I bought a BMW E46 330ci. I rescued this car from being sent to the scrap yard due to a blown engine.

On Monday 27th March, 2 years of blood, sweat and tears were gone in a flash. I had fully rebuilt almost every part of the car. All this was self funded and because my car still hadn’t seen the road, I hadn’t insured it (life lesson learned)

At the time of the accident I was towing the car on a trailer to get its exhaust and downpipe ready for its MOT. I thank my lucky stars I walked away from the accident and that no one else was involved.

I really didn’t want to set up a go fund me but so many people have said I should. Times are hard enough at the moment for people as it is with the cost of living crisis without giving money away.

My aim is to raise enough money for a new shell and small contingency pot for any bits Iv forgotten to take in to account.

Any money over the fund raising target will be split between the mental health charities Mind and Andy’s Man Club.
