Help Get My Prayer Room Piano Fixed!

Hey, ya'll! I moved to Portland six months ago to see what God is doing up here, and He put it on my heart to get a piano for the home to do worship nights and cultivate times of prayer/intercession. If you know me at all from Isla Vista, you'll know that being involved with Monday night prayer was a really important part of my time there and something I cherished. It was a real joy to play piano as people journaled, read, and entered a restful state in the house of prayer behind the Jesus Burgers house.

I just recently got a piano, which I'm stoked about! I am raising support to help get the piano fixed up! It needs to be tuned (~$200), and it also needs some minor repairs (~$300). The piano itself is amazing! It's a nice piano that someone just out of pure kindness gave me for free, and I feel so blessed to have it. However, much like anything old, it needs a little TLC and tune-up. I thought I could muscle my way through it financially, but the Lord put it on my heart to humble myself and ask my church family for help! I figured this would also be a good opportunity to allow anyone to pour into and sow seed into what God is doing in Portland.

My vision is to host regular weekly prayer nights to pray and intercede for the city and our community, just as Isla Vista did on Monday nights. If you know me well, you know how important playing piano is to me, and it's a way in which I feel like I can give back to my community. I'm hopeful to see God move in more home spaces in Portland, and to cultivate more prayer rhythms within this community on a consistent basis!
