Hello, I am Samantha and I am hosting this go fund me in hopes my best friend can get her dog back!

Her name is Nala and she is everything to my friend, a companion dog who is loved so much and has been in the family for years, just like the mother dog has been.

Nala got loose out of the house a few days ago and ran into the neighbors yard. The neighbor guy was standing on her leash and wasn't letting us grab her provoking her and had his fist up acting like he was going to punch her and still wasn't letting us grab her leash. She was scared and felt threatened! She grabbed him by his pants and it left a little mark. No puncture wound and there was no blood. So the police officer said since there was no blood or puncture wound they do Not recommend taking her and said she should be able to keep her home. Then the officer came back to talk to us 10 mins later and said he was going to leave the final decision up to animal control and of course right away he said yes he wanted to take her without even knowing what had really happened. Also told me she would be in a facility with ac and found out they are outside in pull barns with fans. So he had lied to her. We are worried it has been hot outside! We are not allowed to visit her at all or even stop by. Their business card has nothing about dogs/cats on it only has dead animal removal/verman removal. They are the ones that made the final decision to keep her for a 14 day quarantine. Like the officer said she doesn't have to be quartined because there was no puncture just a little mark. Obviously Nala was scared and felt threatened because the neighbor was acting like he was goimg to punch her. She also has high anxiety and is use to only being with my best friend family and close friends. This is her emotional support dog We miss her so much!

So Nala has to stay with them for 14 days! We have tried everything to get her back home. And also mandatory she gets her shots updated before they release Nala!

All 14 days must be paid for plus shots before she can get her back and I can only help out so much. It would be devastating if we had to lose her over a simple accident and hard times.
