Run for Nashville
Last night a tornado tore through the city that I call a second home. Half of the band has lived or currently lives in Nashville. Our mgmt, booking agency, business mgmt, and some of our touring crew all call Nashville home. We have spent more time there than any other city outside of Seattle and developed close friendships with so many there. This city is and has been The Head and The Hearts HQ for some time now. We are all heartbroken by the devastation that these storms and tornadoes have caused to our friends and to the businesses that have shaped what Nashville is to us.
I’m running the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday and figured this could be a great opportunity to “run for a cause” and raise money for those in need.
Im willing to commit to matching $100 for each mile I run. Let’s raise $2620 for the 26.2 miles and I’ll match that. Sky’s the limit after that.
The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee seems to be a really good place to donate to at this time. Funds will go directly to people and businesses in Nashville and all of middle Tennessee who are in need after these storms.
Thank you!
