Help Us Make History: Support Okehampton Women's Rugby in Their First National Final

Nestled in the heart of Devon, Okehampton Rugby Club is more than just a sports team — it's a vibrant hub of community spirit and sporting passion. Every weekend, nearly 20 teams proudly wear the club's colours, uniting players of all ages, genders, and abilities under one maroon & amber banner.

Among the club’s most exciting success stories is our rapidly rising women’s team. Entering the RFU league system in 2022, they’ve achieved something extraordinary over the last two seasons — securing back-to-back promotions! Now, in 2025, with the league title won, the ladies have a chance to complete a historic league, plate double when they compete in the Papa John’s Junior Plate Final at Sixways Stadium, Worcester, on Saturday 17 May.

This occasion marks a first-ever national final appearance for not only this team but the entire club, and they'll be facing their toughest challenge yet against the two-time defending champions, Workington Finches.

We are reaching out to friends, fans, and supporters near and far to help us write the next chapter of this incredible journey. Along with funding provided by the club, your donation will directly support the team’s travel, accommodation, and other essential costs, ensuring the squad and our loyal supporters can make the trip and compete at our best.
