Help get Sherry back on her feet!

Hello All,
My name is Crystal Hembree; I am the Niece of Sherry Brown.
I have created this GoFund Me page in hopes that you will find it in your heart to help me get Sherry off the streets from being homeless and back on her feet. Her story is a mile long, and I will try to sum it up a little for you; stick with me!
Many of you have come across Sherry in some way. Whether it was at Church, seeing her walking, blessing her with a little cash, treating her in the ER, or even a hot meal. It all began 13 years ago when my grandmother (her mother) passed away from a stroke.. Mema was all she ever knew; she took care of sherry. Sherry was never truly diagnosed or evaluated to see what her TRUE disability is. She was pulled from the only home she ever knew. She then moved to Habersham with my mother, and since then, she's went back and forth with some family members, including her brother in Monroe, where she was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer in 2019, and has had some surgeries and treatments. We believe the cancer is back, as it has gone untreated for a while now due to being homeless. She was homeless in Atlanta sleeping on Marta benches. She made her way back to Habersham in May of this year (northside hospital put her in a cab) and has been walking the streets since seeking help.
So, I am coming to you as a community, friends and family to help me get her back on her feet. MY plan is to get her into a LOW income apartment. I will check on her daily and on the first of every month, make sure she is taken to pay her bills to ensure they are paid. This fundraiser will hopefully allow me to pay deposits on utilities to be turned on and pay a few months' rent to get her going, AND of course, she will need things for her apartment as she only has the clothes on her back! Sherry just wants her freedom and Independence. I believe we can make this happen for her as long as my family members and I check in on her daily.
These funds will not reach her hands until I KNOW everything is purchased and covered for her and she is somewhere safe. Also, for the record, my mother AND my aunt have exhuasted everything. We have not been able to get any assistance from the state, system, agencies, case workers, NOTHING. Nobody wants to help us. Yes, she's a hard one to handle. BUT you have to look over her; it's her mind. She cannot help it.
Thank you for sticking with me. I pray the Lord nudges you to give! She cried on my shoulder yesterday, wishing she could have somewhere to live by Thanksgiving. Can we make this happen?
Much Love,
Crystal Hembree
