Help get these kids back on their feet!

On the 19th of May 2024, tragedy struck when three local teenagers from Capella & Clermont were involved in a horrific single vehicle rollover outside of Clermont, QLD. Halie Taylor, 17, and Rauiri Unwin, 18, suffered severe injuries in the accident and are now facing a challenging road to recovery.

Halie Taylor, the daughter of Rachel Olsson & Alfie Mackay, sustained multiple compound fractures to one of her legs and multiple fractures along with severe ligament damage from a dislocated knee in the other leg, requiring extensive surgeries and ongoing medical care in Townsville.

Rauiri Unwin, son of Brett & Kerri Unwin, was flown from the car during the crash and suffered a shattered femur and dislocated hip, (among other multiple injuries) Due to the unbearable condition he was in, emergency services sedated him for critical transport to Brisbane.

Quinlan Unwin miraculously walked away with cuts and bruising to his left side and is receiving treatment to deep cuts on his leg, and is recovering at home with family.

As these children navigate the difficult journey of rehabilitation, they are in need of support to cover medical expenses, mobility equipment, and travel costs for their families to be by their side during this trying time.

Your contribution to this Go Fund Me campaign will not only aid in the recovery of Halie and Rauiri but also help alleviate the financial strain on their families as they strive to bring these kids home once they have healed.
