Help Get Tom Necessary Treatment

On August 17, 2018, Tom Raven suffered sudden cardiac arrest at home.  Statistics show that 90% of people who suffer cardiac arrest outside of a hospital don't survive. Thanks to the amazing efforts of his oldest daughter Alex, and his mother-in-law, who performed CPR until paramedics arrived, Tom was able to beat the odds and made it to the hospital alive. 

Otherwise healthy and in great shape, Tom has a genetic predisposition that led to a number of clogged arteries.  However, a quadruple bi-pass surgery has him on the road to recovery.  After spending more than a week in a medically induced coma, and another week in Cardiac ICU, Tom's condition has greatly improved. 

Although Tom has made substantial recovery to this point, the cardiac arrest caused trauma to his brain.  He is currently in a small time frame during his recovery where he can make the most progress toward full brain recovery with Acute Neurological Therapy.

At this time, Insurance will not cover the therapy.  The therapy Tom needs can cost upwards of $5,000 a day.  His doctors are confident that this is necessary to make a full recovery.  Let's help Tom get the help he needs.

Tom recently celebrated his 20th wedding anniversary with this high school sweetheart Jane, and has 3 daughters he adores.  This treatment will help him get back on his feet and back to his girls.

The fundraising goal isn't a realistic number, but even if insurance steps up, this will be a lengthy recovery, and medical bills add up quickly.  Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.
