Help Ghada and Abdulrahman's family to get out of Gaza. We're kindly asking for support to gather enough funds to secure a safe passage from the besieged Gaza Strip.

Hello, We're Ghada and Abdulrahman Adwan from Gaza-Palestine. We're passionate students and programmers who have the hope of becoming capable software engineers one day to serve our people.

We're writing this after lots of thought and hesitation. But the urgency and need to continue rescuing our family is greater than our resilience, and we're fundraising to continue our studies and help our family have a better life away from war!

We're desperately seeking your generous support to help us evacuate our family (parents, 1 sister 2 brothers, and us) from

Gaza and rebuild our lives.

Our whole family used to live in Gaza City until we were ordered to flee in the middle of October. So far We fleed 6 times in 5 months, we ended up living in a warehouse in Rafah, where basic life necessities are scarce. With every passing day, the fear of losing life haunts us, so we need to evacuate immediately to save our lives!

When the war began our dreams got vanished in Gaza and our house got bombed by the IOF.

Each of us has a story to tell you:

Abdulrahman is Computer Engineering student in IUG who loves the technology field, his dream is to be one of the best programmer in the world. He wanted to join hackathons around the world. Little did he know, his dreams will get vanished in one night, On oct 6th he went to sleep and when he woke up, he didn't find nothing (neither home nor dreams).

Ghada is a high school student who is Gifted in maths and loves AI, she hopes to continue her studies in High school and join a university as a Software Engineering student to enable her to go on with her AI journey. She loved participating in math competitions and online programming and AI courses.

Our eldest Ghadeer is a PhD student in social sciences. She used to be a passionate science teacher working for MOE but due to war she lost her job and dreams in Gaza.

Hasan is a doctor who graduated from IUG and currently volunteering in a medical charity for healthcare in Rafah, he used to volunteer in Al-shifa hospital in Gaza.

Fady is an electrical engineering student in IUG, he was in his 4th year when the war began. His GPA is 4.6/5 in university, he is passionate about solar power. He hopes to power the world cleanly one day!

Unfortunately, due to the war on Gaza, our ability to study has been severely hampered. Internet access is unreliable, resources are scarce, and the situation has created many challenges that make focusing on my education impossible!

However, We haven't given up upon our dreams. We're determined to continue our journey into finishing our studies away from war. Then go off our journey in AI and ML. We hope to become a capable software engineers and use our skills to contribute positively to our community in the future.

It’s been 6 months of hell and horror. This genocide has been too long to bear, and our lives are in constant danger. (I can’t describe enough what we have been through in the past days), We have reached a point where there is no hope left for us here in Gaza where we are unfortunately just waiting for our turn to die and even if there is a ceasefire, the destruction in Gaza is beyond prompt repair.

‏Evacuation fees are really expensive, especially now that we have no source of income. Once we can evacuate, your donations will cover our travel expenses and help us get immediate support in Eygpt. We'll make sure no generous contribution will go to waste!

To cross the “Rafah” Gaza-Egypt Borders you need to have your name listed in the Crossing List (paid permit) and coordinators in Egypt who have the power to add my family’s names to the list at the border are now asking for €5000 per PERSON! They will not add the names until we can prove we have the money ready.

High School Education Fees for Ghada: €4,000

*This covers 4 years of studying CS in University Malaysia
