My name is Ghadeer Jabr, I'm 24 years old, and I'm from Gaza. I'm writing to you with a mix of emotions that overwhelm my heart in the face of the challenges we're experiencing here.

My family and I have endured four previous wars, but this time feels different, tougher than anything we've been through before. I'm not sure if we'll make it through this time. That's why I feel it's my duty to ensure my family's safety by helping them find a safe shelter.

Today marks the 195th day of this ordeal, as the days of suffering continue to increase. We've been displaced six times, losing not only our home but also our precious memories and dreams. The future is uncertain, and we've also lost loved ones along the way. Nights are filled with fear, every moment haunted by danger.

We live in a tent, facing harsh winters and scorching summers without basic amenities like water. I've lost my home and my job, my computer, and even a means to earn a living due to months of internet and power outages. After much thought, I've decided to reach out to you for help by creating this link. Our only hope now lies in your generosity and support to raise funds to seek safety in Egypt. Imagine that our escape from this death trap could cost me and my family a significant amount, as the costs for arrangements to Egypt have skyrocketed to $6,000 USD per person (approximately $8,000 CAD). عانيت أنا وعائلتي من أربع حروب سابقة، لكن هذه المرة تبدو مختلفة، أصعب من كل ما مررنا به. لست متأكداً مما إذا كنا سنتجاوز هذه المرة. ولهذا السبب أشعر أنه واجبي أن أضمن سلامة عائلتي بمساعدتهم في العثور على ملجأ آمن.

اليوم يصادف اليوم الـ 195 لهذا المحنة، حيث تزداد الأيام بالمعاناة. لقد تم نزوحنا ست مرات، فقدنا ليس فقط منزلنا بل أيضًا ذكرياتنا وأحلامنا الثمينة. المستقبل غير مؤكد، ولقد فقدنا أيضًا أحبائنا على طول الطريق. الليالي مليئة بالخوف، كل لحظة مطاردة بظل الخطر.
