#justiceforgunner has become a moment across the United States, starting right in Denton County Texas.
For those who are unaware of Gunners story you can follow this movement through the hashtag #justiceforgunner
We are a Krum Texas family that was stripped from our happiness by the Linda McNatt Animal Shelter located on Elm St.
Gunner was our 12 year 11 month old purebred yellow lab that was euthanized without our consent within the first 24 hrs of arriving at the animal shelter.
Texas law states that we have 72 hrs to retrieve our family from a facility and they demolished our family by taking that right from us!
He was picked up by a stranger, brought into a strange place, and killed by a stranger without his mom and dad by his side.
Gunners was chipped and wore a tracking gps collar 24/7. Although we called the animal facility to retrieve Gunner we were told that Wednesday’s were closed to the public and stated that we were allowed to pick him up at 10am Thursday morning.
When we arrived to get our playful fun loving family puppy he was presented to us in a red garbage bag.
We are rallying anyone who is willing to stand behind us in legal fees it will cost to ensure another family never has to endure what we have!
We are fighting for our pets rights and all money will be used to help pay for legal fees that will occur throughout the process of making a change.
We are in debt to everyone for all the love and support that has been shown from coast to coast.
We will be posting our achievements and actions during this time on Facebook and TikTok.
