Help Gillian see her 6 year old daughter

Friends and Family,

I am coming to you to help my friend, Gillian. Gillian is a single mother of three children. She has been going through a very long and expensive and biased custody battle as some of you may know for the last six years. Her youngest daughter’s father is an NFL coach and has all the funds to battle Gillian and has no problem doing so. Even going as far as hiring private investigators and offering funds to strangers to slander her character.

You may also know that recently Gillian uprooted her and her children’s lives and moved to Orange County California where father had moved in an attempt to peacefully co-parent. This hard decision was made hoping the father would stop relentlessly taking her to court wanting full custody. The father was signed to a team there and purchased an over a million-dollar home. Months later the father was fired from his job and days later Gillian was let go from her job. With no ties to Orange County, no income, and her kids missing home in Sacramento, she planned to move back home.

Father then relocated, purchasing another over a million-dollar home. During this time the father fought her to keep her daughter in Orange County with his wife leaving the child without her father or mother while he worked in another state during the week. Thankfully a judge saw through this and agreed the child should move back to Sacramento, CA with her mother. She then used all the funds she had to move back home. Unfortunately, the judge noted that future travel costs should be shared by Gillian as she was a new judge on the case and income was not discussed. Meaning Gillian would have to pay for weekly travel to and from Orange County on weekends for her and her daughter. Something she simply cannot afford.

Currently the child is with father in Denver as he was given five weeks’ custody time during summer with only three days for Gillian. Knowing she could not afford the travel during those three days; he did not allow Gillian to see her daughter. He was refusing to bring her child back to Sacramento this Sunday July 23, 2023, as he is court ordered to. This is an abuse of financial power and bullying Gillian into not seeing her daughter. Gillian does not make enough money to afford travel weekly or enough to fly to Denver this Sunday to get her daughter. Her daughter has been counting down the days until she is coming home. We need your help to ensure there is no issues bringing her home going forward. She has not been away from her child for more than two weeks.

I know this sounds crazy that a man coaching in the NFL is not ordered to pay travel costs and it is! Since her daughter was born, he has moved five different states forcing the child to fly as early as an infant, even through the pandemic. Each time he has been court ordered to pay travel costs, as he should, because he not only has the means to do so but he is the cause of the needed travel. A court hearing will take place at the end of August where this oversight should be corrected. If not corrected the travel fees will continue into the unforeseen future.

In the meantime, we need your help in funding travel costs. The biased and likely paid off private mediator is now saying if Gillian cannot follow the court order and share in travel costs, she will be writing this in her report where she will be recommending where her daughter should permanently live. It is unfair that because Gillian does not have money like the millionaire father, she should not see her daughter or possibly lose any custody because of it. I am asking for your help to fight the unjust cruel tactics to even the playing field. Travel costs for this Sunday’s flight total $1,045 dollars. Then going forward, she will book weekly travel to fly her daughter to her dad each week until court.

Again, I know it sounds crazy a six-year-old is forced to travel this much. Please keep Gillian and all three of her kids in your prayers. We are hoping the judge sees through this all and gives her daughter a break from being used as a tactic. They all deserve a normal healthy loving life.

Any donation is appreciated. All funds will go towards Gillian and her daughter being able to see each other. No mother should be punished for not having enough money to see her child. I would not be asking for your help if it was desperately needed to fix this unjust reality.
