Help Desert Potions (Gina) Recover After a Devastating Hit-and-Run at Farmers Market
On February 8, 2025, while working my usual Saturday morning at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing Farmers Market, my life has been forever changed. A driver plowed through the market, plowed thru my canopy and struck me three times, and ultimately ran me over and continued to run me over as I was screaming in severe pain. This destroyed my booth and leaving me with severe injuries. I am shaken to the core that I made It out alive.
I am now unable to walk and facing several months of rehab and physical therapy. I am not sure when I will recover correctly from this horrible traumatic event. I lost all my inventory, supplies, and pop-up shop—everything I rely on to make a living. As a disabled adult and small business owner, I support myself and my two children by selling at markets. But right now, I have no income and am facing mounting medical bills with no immediate financial relief.
To make matters worse, despite the shocking nature of this incident, the police did not issue a citation, collect insurance information, or investigate the driver, leaving me to navigate this nightmare on my own. The legal process will take time, and I need urgent help to cover medical expenses, daily living costs, and support my children while I heal.
I am seeking $25,000 to cover:
✅ Medical bills & rehabilitation therapy
✅ Daily expenses & support for my children
✅ Rebuilding my business & market setup
I have been a dedicated vendor at Ardovino’s for four years, and my work means everything to me. I am deeply grateful for this community and hope, with your support, to get back on my feet—literally and financially.
Any contribution, no matter the size, helps me take one step closer to recovery. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as valuable.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
With much gratitude,
