Help Gina "Embrace The Suck" and fight Brain Cancer
On February 1, Gina was diagnosed with grade 4, high-grade glioma/glioblastoma, a fast-growing hyper-aggressive brain tumor that was already widespread on her right lobe.

Ten days after Christmas, Gina tripped and fell. When she went to see her doctor, she was found to have diffuse numbness on the left side of her body, which led to an MRI of her brain. A tumor was found.
After processing the news and in typical Gina fashion, she ignored her doctor's tearful advice to go "enjoy the limited time you have left," threw out the sympathy cards and decided to "embrace the suck" and fight. (A David Goggins quote she's embodied).
She was introduced to an elite oncology team and multiple cutting-edge treatments / medical trials through God-provided connections. In between appointments, chemo, treatments, etc. Gina's been fighting hard at home with lifestyle and dietary changes. Oh, all of this is in addition to continuing to be a great mom and wife to her Brand Bunch (6 kids, a husband, and two crazy doodles).
As proud as we are of Gina and her fight, we are starting this GoFundMe for a few reasons -
- After five months of fighting this, complications, including left-side paralysis and the widespread nature of the tumor have started to severely limit treatment options outside of clinical trials and experimental treatments that are not covered by insurance.
- Gina has been approved for several trials but treatment will require travel to and lodging in Los Angeles for up to 6 consecutive weeks at a time for infusions.
Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated, and every little bit helps. Regardless of a monetary donation, we ask for and are appreciative of prayer.
The road ahead will be rough but hopefully long. And we will need help.
We will continue to post updates as Gina's treatment continues. Any additional funds will go to help the financial future of her family.
