Help Gina through second chemotherapy treatment

Hi, my name is Brian Coleman and I'm fundraising for my older sister, Regina Siler. Gina is my cousin in blood, but her mother died of cancer months after she was born so my mother immediately adopted her and I grew up with her as my big sis...the one who always protected me. Now I wish I could do more to protect her.

Gina was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in March 2021, and went through the initial six cycles of Chemotherpy in the summer of 2021, This was a very aggressive chemotherapy and it was tough for all of us, but we were hopeful it would be enough to eradicate her cancer.

Unfortunatley, Gina developed numbness and tingling in her feet, something called chemo-induced neuropathy...meaning it's hard for her to walk up and down stairs or do any of her basic activities. The chemo also caused lesions on her eyes, mouth, and all over her body. We were expecting hair loss, but it ended up being much worse.

Gina recently had a double mastectomy in December 2021 where both breasts were removed as well as part of her lymph nodes because the cancer had spread there as well.

Sadly, the biopsy after her mastectomy showed more invasive cancer cells and this is where we stand today. Instead of starting the year going back to work and getting healthy with just a breast reconstruction surgery left, Gina has started the year with an infection, which necessitated a removal of one of her expanders, another FOURTEEN cycles of chemotherapy in addition to daily radiation for months.

This journey has not only taken its physical, mental, and emotional tolls, Gina has also run through her savings and will not be able to work if she wants to get the radiation she needs to keep fighting this battle.
