Help Gino Walk Again (TPLO Surgery Necessary)

I am creating this fundraiser to help a dear friend Aubrey, whose loving pitbull puppy is in need of immediate TPLO surgery. Here is the full story in her own words, Thank you for checking out the fundraiser:

"Some of you may know that I recently found out that Gino has a torn CCL in his right hind leg and needs TPLO surgery as soon as possible.

I adopted Gino in 2015 when he was 3 and a half months old. He had already conquered many heartbreaking challenges and was given the nickname Champ at my local shelter. He loves to swim and hike and we’ve seen so many beautiful places together. At only 2 years old, he tore the Cranial Crucial Ligament/CCL in his left hind leg (equivalent to an ACL in humans) while hiking. He took a sharp turn while running and that was it. The tear was severe and we had to have the TPLO surgery done immediately. The healing process was tough on Gino but he ended up healing fully and eventually was given his surgeons blessing to continue doing the things he loves. He’s generally a nervous and timid dog but he’s happy and free of his anxieties and worries when we’re hiking.

Gino is now 6 years old and recently began slowing down on hikes and showing signs of pain in his right hind leg. Upon bringing him to the vet, it was unfortunately determined that his right CCL is fully torn and he needs TPLO surgery again. The surgery is $5,800 and this couldn’t come at a worse time. As his owner, I’m struggling to afford the cost of the surgery. The longer he deals with it, he could develop more arthritis and be unable to move or bend it properly at all. It’s crucial that Gino has this surgery asap to give him a better chance at healing properly, relieve him of pain and get him back to a life that makes him happy. He’s an incredibly sweet dog and deserves a pain free life.

This situation has been weighing heavy on me and I’m so grateful for any helpful gesture at all. Everything makes a difference wether it be a donation or sharing this fundraiser, Thank you."
