Help Girls Who Code Close the Tech Gap
Tax deductible
Hi! My name is Vanessa and I’m trying to fundraise for Girls Who Code. Girls Who Code is a nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology and computer science. They offer free programs—like after-school clubs, summer intensives, and college-level communities—that teach coding, digital skills, and leadership to girls and nonbinary students, particularly those from historically underrepresented backgrounds.
But it’s not just about coding. Girls Who Code empowers young people to believe they belong in tech, builds confidence, and provides career support to help them thrive in the field long-term.
Why is it important to donate?
Because these programs are free for students—and that’s only possible through donations. Fundraising helps:
• Expand access to underserved communities
• Train mentors and educators
• Provide tech resources and laptops
• Support alumni as they transition into college and careers
Every dollar helps create a future where girls aren’t just using technology—they’re building it.
