Hello! I'm starting a gofundme for a close friend, who is like a sister to me. She has finally gotten up the courage to leave her abuser and is desperately trying to start over. After 13 years, in an abusive marriage, she and their 4 children have finally broken free and are trying to create their happily ever after. During her marriage, her husband was the sole provider and has been extremely resistant to providing sufficient financial support to her and their kids. They are currently in the midst of a heated divorce. She has gone into considerable debt trying to retain legal services to advocate for her and their children's best interests.
