Help Give Alex the Farewell He Deserves

Dear Friends, family, and community,

My name is Dana McCoy and I am trying to raise funds on behalf of Alex. He is not only my lifelong partner of 10 years but he’s also the father to our four-year-old son, Kashdyn! Jerry Alexander Reason, born April 22nd, 1996, has suddenly left this world.

On behalf of me, his son, his mother, and the rest of his family and friends, we would love to give Alex the funeral and burial he deserves in order to honor his memory and say our final goodbyes. Alex lit up the room with his big wide smile and his bubbly personality; he truly was a bright spirit to anybody he met. No matter the trials and tribulations he’s ever had, Alex had the biggest heart and would give his absolute last if he had it to give. He loved those who loved him, and he loved hard!! His family meant everything to him, especially our precious son. This has been the hardest thing I’ve had yet to endure, but I thank God today for the strength he has given me to write this message.

We are asking for any donations to help cover the expenses as he did not have any type of life insurance. No one ever prepares you for this kind of stuff; it just happens. Me and his mom cannot financially afford this without the help and support from our community. If you can’t make a donation, share and say a prayer along the way; that will still mean so much to us. His mother deserves to give her youngest child the proper funeral he deserves! For our son, I would love to give him something he can always look forward to, and that’s going and visiting his daddy as time passes by. Alex meant everything to us, and we meant everything to him! We are thankful for any and all donations at this time of need❤️
