"Spec. Ashley Pullen saved the life of a squad member by shielding him with her own body while under attack."
In February 2019, they foster then adopt a young boy into their stable lives. In September 2019, their beautiful daughter is born. In 2020, Ashley contracted COVID and learned she was pregnant. She survived... the baby didn't. Ashley was distraught about her inability to protect their unborn child. In April 2021, she learns she's pregnant again. YAYYY, Right?!? History begins repeating itself. This time, Ashley gets a triple positive breast cancer diagnosis. For those who have gone through a cancer diagnosis and treatment you know how uncertain that journey can be. Now imagine the turmoil of an unborn baby in the mix. Ashley and Thomas Hawkins have bravely decided to take on this fight to save their own - family life.
Their modest ask of financial help is for building materials needed to upgrade cramped living quarters. Thomas wants to build a calm (inviting) space for his courageous; yet, ailing wife to physically and emotionally heal. Then, create more room for the adventurous toddler and a baby sister due November 29th. And, more space for three growing sons. Thomas plans to do the upgrades on their plot of land with the sons, while believing and reassuring them that "mom & baby will survive".
This loving family's situation is being viewed by many as tragic. Yet, they still laugh and smile together because they know their Faith is in GOD and HIS promises to make a way for them. Your thoughtful gift and mine, combined with others who care - can lift weights off their minds and restore comfort. Share this GoFundMe plea.
