Help Give Brent Gamble a Proper Farewell
Donation protected
Brent Gamble was in a severe motorcycle accident that left him paralyzed. He spent the next year and a half in and out of hospitals and rehabilitation centers until his life tragically ended on Christmas night, 2024. A lifelong resident of Stockton, Brent made a significant impact on the community. He was a boxing trainer, a friend, and a role model for countless kids. Brent trained at the Fat City Boxing Gym in the late '80s until the building was torn down in the early 2000s. He later spent several years training kids at the East Side Boxing Gym. He devoted his life to supporting young boxers, often driving fighters across California to compete in amateur boxing matches and tournaments. Brent would travel to places like Modesto and Manteca just so the kids could spar. He never charged a penny for his efforts—he did it all for free. His sole motivation was to keep kids off the streets and guide them toward a path of success.
Brent’s fighters collectively had over 100 matches, winning 85% of them—a statistic he was incredibly proud of. This remarkable man deserves a proper funeral service. Unfortunately, his family is unable to cover the costs on such short notice. If you can afford to donate, the family would greatly appreciate your support. Thank you, and God bless.
