Hello, my name is Henry King, a.k.a. Sam.
I have some very sad news. My best friend, right hand man at work and like a son has passed away peacefully at our home in Va Beach Saturday, 13th 2024.
His name is Cameron Borghero.
He was a brother, a son, and a father to his young daughter, boyfriend to one girl, and a good friend to many.
Cameron was also a member of the Blackwater Baptist Church, where he loved to go to God's house to worship and get away from the stresses of the world, be at peace, and play the piano. Cameron was self taught and started when he was 2 years old. He loved to play and write music and has many songs on the internet.
Cameron was one of the strongest believers in God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost I've ever known!
He also loved the Va Beach oceanfront. He would go there for days, weeks, and even months at a time and enjoyed walking up and down the boardwalk all day. He was at peace with the sounds of the waves and loved the views.
We worked together and were best friends almost 12 years.
Three years ago this month on 10 July Cameron fell 6 floors from a building while at the oceanfront and broke many bones in his body. It was a miracle from God he survived. The doctor said he would never walk again. Cameron overcame everything in his path and did walk again.
When my mom was very sick and was slowly passing away he was always there to help her and me any minute of the day or night.
Cameron had a heart of gold and would help anyone that he could down to his last dollar. Cameron knew he always had a place to stay and food to eat with me anytime.
Cameron was not my biological son, but he was like a son and a member of our family. Cameron filled a void in my life and is the one that brought me closer to God. He is a 100% complete believer. I know he is no longer in any pain or suffering and in heaven with his savior. I am so thankful for that! He always told me that, "Gods got my back"!
I do miss him very much and always will.
He is at Altmeyer Funeral Home in Virginia Beach, 5033 Rouse Dr. Virginia Beach, VA 23462. The family is planning a service for him there. I will announce the arrangements as soon as we know. The funeral home has set up a fundraiser also on line to help with his funeral. I am praying we’re able to raise enough funds for him to have a traditional funeral.
The last resort would be a cremation. Unfortunately, Cameron did not have any life insurance. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Sam King;(
