Help Give Delaney More Time

Hi everyone, my name is Tory. I've created this GoFundMe on behalf of my dear friends, Hailey and Kay Hayes, who are the cat parents to a wonderful little cat named Delaney, who they love very much.

Delaney is a little shelter sweetheart about five years old, who was brought home shortly after Kay lost their dad to cancer. In fact, Delaney shares the same birthday with him, which only served to make her connection to her cat family even more special. She loves snuggling and chirping and playing with her little stuffed shrimp. She's brought so much joy to her family, and her sister cat Darla.

Delaney recently had a terrible health scare and unfortunately, the news was not good. A large lump was discovered on her hip, which turned out to be a tumor. Surgery has been scheduled to remove the tumor, and a variety of other care is being recommended. The potential removal of her leg has been discussed as well.

Without medical intervention, Delaney’s prognosis is a few months. With the recommended care, she can get another year or two with her family. But her parents, and her friends, want to buy her as much time as they possibly can so that she can be loved as long as she can.

With this GoFundMe, we hope to help offset the cost of emergency vet care, blood tests, anesthesia, surgery, and any potential aftercare needed. I will ultimately be transferring funds to Hailey and Kay.
