Help give Duke a chance

Unfortunately we lost Dukes battle, he passed away 6/10/21. It breaks my heart to write this. 

His vet bills sadly added up to $50k please help with what you can. 

 

 

My baby boy Duke has fallen sick to tick paralysis and is on life support fighting aspiration pneumonia.

 

He needs more time to get better whilst he rests his lungs to recover from this infection

 

Duke is in ICU and on a ventilator but he’s not quite ready to come off the machine.

 

I want try and give him 5 days or a little longer to get over the pneumonia. If I take him off the machine he will dye as his lungs are not quite strong enough.

 

He has a good chance to fight this but unfortunately 24 hour intensive care is costly. Your donations would help in his recovery & survival.

Duke is doing as well as expected, he has had no major set backs.  His lungs are slowly, healing & clearing from pneumonia. 

 Duke is requiring  70% oxygen supplementation. We need him at 40% before taking him off the ventilator. 

yesterday they trailed him at 65% & today @ 55%  which he tolerated. 

 

I am keeping calm and patient for duke as he has made small improvements. 

He still needs more time to heal. 

Currently he is costing  $5000/day. It is possible he requires 2-3 days more.
