Hi, my name is Jon Gibson, and I am a Contemporary Gospel Music Producer & Recording Artist with 11 solo projects since 1982. My last two projects "Soulful Hymns" and "The Storyteller" were publicly funded and released independently. I started as a guest artist on Bill Wolfer's solo album on the Constellation label, a label specifically designed by Solar Records to create Pop stars. Working with people like Michael Jackson, and top L.A. session musicians, the goal was to make me a Pop Star. After all, I looked like a 19-year-old supermodel, could sing like Stevie Wonder and write songs like The Beatles. It was a no-brainer, I had Stevie Wonder's attorney Johanan Vigoda, who was also the force behind John Travolta's success. After my debut MTV video where I was depicted as a highschool student being hit on by a school teacher, they flew me to New York to star in a musical fantasy movie with music by AC/DC. Yes, I was all set becoming a big star. But there was a problem, I was a new born-again Christian being catapulted into suddenly into Hollywood stardom and It didn't sit well with my soul, so I retreated and walked away from it all.
I started making contemporary Gospel music and soon had great success with 9 no.1 hits and over 20 top 10 CCM songs, and a CCM "Album of the Year." But now there was another problem, the entire Christian market was in the process of being sold to the majors! So now, the same people who brought you Puff Daddy, would also bring your worship! And also, they weren't interested in the music of Jon Gibson, they wanted to recreate my entire image as another Stephen Curtis Chapman. It was so absurd to me, that it was simply an impossibility, and so, I choose to walk away from the Christian music industry altogether. I've been independent ever since. It's not that I won't work with big business people, but not as an artist, but rather as an individual, protected from within a ministry. It's been quite a battle of the heart, mind, and soul, for over 25 years, but I have to stand up for what I believe is right, even if it means all-out war with Satan's army. I have much more music to share with the world, but in order to accomplish that, I need your help financially to create it, and release it to the world. I'm so grateful for anyone who will partner with me in this noble quest. Godly music is a powerful tool that plants seeds of hope in someone's heart. thank you for helping me do that.

P.S. I have a gospel music duet with Stevie Wonder coming out in 2025 on Nathan Watts solo project. I've already heard the rough mix, it's an amazing song, and I can't wait for you to hear it.
